Just how gullible do they think we are?

I think it is becoming more and more obvious that the current regime is generally dismissive of the will of the people and consider all of us to be too stupid to think for ourselves.  What's more, they are arrogant enough to believe that we can't see through their subterfuge.
 
Case in point on the dismissive issue.  Poll after poll shows that the American people are against a public option in healthcare, yet congress is still trying to ram one down our throats, arrogantly thinking that they know best what is good for us (here is where you can bleat like sheep if you so desire).    Today we have the farcical meeting at the White House between Obama and "50 doctors" who support his healthcare plan.  This is total BS.  The latest poll shows that 44% of doctors would rather go into retirement if the current plan goes into effect.  That's even more of disparity in the doctor/patient ratio.  Don't think that would affect the timeliness of your healthcare?  The administration proudly boasts that the AMA is behind the plan.  Well, that may be the case, but the fact that they are not telling you is that only 17% of doctors actually belong to the AMA.  So, while it sounds all important and impressive, it doesn't amount to squat.  Polls show the vast majority of doctors are against the plan.....period.
 
Next up, the administration wants you to believe that with the recent setback for the Messiah in failing to secure the Olympics for Chicago, was not because they didn't do their homework.  Valerie Jarrett had said that their "intelligence" showed that Chicago would be in the final two and it would only take an appearance by the Dear Leader (mmmm, mmmm, mmm) to tilt the vote in our favor.  Well, guess what Val?  We were the first to get the boot despite our charismatic leader, his lovely wife, and Oprah.  Good God!  What narcissistic, self-absorbed egomaniacs these people are.  And better yet, what idiots are assessing "intelligence" and setting up the POTUS for embarrassment?  If this is how they do intelligence on something so meaningless in the BIG picture as hosting the Olympics, God help us on their intelligence gathering abilities on matters of national security.  Oh, that's right, we are in the "persecute the CIA" mode.
 
Now what is really funny is that it took only 48 minutes for them to blame Bush for Obama's failure.  Gee, how predictable was that?  Seems like we just alienated the whole world under Dubya, so poor Barry couldn't bring home the bacon.  Well, let's see.  If he is so charismatic, and he is the symbol of change, would the world be lining up to firmly plant their collective lips on his arse?  Well, at least that is what they expected anyway, and why shouldn't they.  He is the Messiah after all!.  Must have been a terrible blow to the Salesman-in-Chief. 
 
Even Saturday Night Live is jumping on the bandwagon of doubt.  They did a pretty funny piece about Barry's lack of accomplishments.  Now, from the NBC perspective, it probably was really to parody his inability to get the far left's socialist agenda implemented fast enough, and not about a lack of accomplishment, it was funny nevertheless.
 
On a much more serious note, over the weekend 10 U.S. Soldiers were killed in Afghanistan in an ambush.  This after the fact that General Stanley  McCrystal has been asking for more troops and has been subsequently ignored by our Dear Leader.  Can the death of these fine young heroes be blamed on Obama's ambivalence.  Maybe the new slogan should be "Obama can't decide, so people died"
 
So there he is....Ba-rack Hu-ssein O-ba-ma...mmm, mmm,  mmm.

...and a new week begins

Good Morning Folks,

First, congrats to those of you that solved the "who is Joseph Dhzugashvili" quiz.  He is none other than "Papa" Joe Stalin. You know, that lovable Georgian nut that was responsible for killing 10 million people.  But what the heck, can't make a omelet without breaking a few eggs.   I thought it to be a fitting email address given the current leanings of the regime in power.

Here are a couple of little tidbits to ponder this week.

1.  The Obama administration is meeting with Iran on Thursday to tell them what really, really bad boys they've been lately (and we really, really mean it this time).  Nothing like putting the fear of Allah in them, eh?  They will set another arbitrary b.s. deadline for the Iranians to comply, the Iranians will swear that their nuclear program is for peaceful purposes and of course, we'll believe them, but ask really really nicely if we can inspect their nuclear facilities. Meanwhile, those crazy kids keep test firing short range missiles.  Must be celebrating their Fourth of July no?

2.  Apparently the only world leader that actually has a pair is Benjamin Netanyahu.  How long before he has had enough and takes action?  Listening to him speak, makes me long for a US President that can be as eloquent and yet forceful.  Can we draft him to run for US President?  What's that?  He is not a natural born US citizen?  Well, I hear all it takes to prove that you're one is a certificate of live birth.  I'm sure we can have the state of Virginia come up with one.  I understand he went to high school there.

3.  Obama's eloquent address to the UN General Assembly spoke of the right of every nation to develop peaceful nuclear programs for electrical generation.  Well, that's every nation but one.  The U.S..A.  Ironic that he is for everyone building nuke plants for energy generation, but he and his enviro-nazis won't allow any to be built here.  But why would we need to when we have so much coal and natural gas?  Oh yeah, that's right.  We can't burn fossil fuel anymore either.

4.  How about the Obama administration giving $100 million to Brazil to expand their offshore oil drilling?   Ironic that he is for everyone drilling for oil for energy independence, but he and his enviro-nazis won't allow any drilling here.  Do you think that just maybe, they don't want us to be energy independent?  They don't want us to create the wealth that would pay off the debt.  Does that make any sense whatsoever?

5.  Recently a Democrat congressman from California (yes, that's right a d-e-m-o-c-r-a-t) wants to launch an investigation in the Federal Reserve about their monetary policy making.  Seems that the Fed ( they're about as "Federal" as Federal Express to quote Jim Quinn) has grown their balance sheet by ONE TRILLION dollars since September.  Where did that money come from?  And more importantly where did it go and to whom?

6.  In yet another brilliant piece of forward thinking, the POTUS wants to lengthen the school year for children so that they can compete in the new millennium.  His argument is that they need more time in the classroom.  It's the classic quantity over quality argument he makes.  He thinks that "saturating" our kids would help them compete with the Asian students who routinely kick our butts in math and science.  The only problem with his plan is that kids in Japan, Taiwan, Singapore, and other Asian countries actually go to school LESS than our kids.  Do you think that just maybe the NEA and the QUALITY of our education is what really needs to be looked at?  Arbitrarily lowering standards to improve graduation rates has apparently not worked either, has it?  But maybe more time in school would give the kids more time to learn catchy little songs praising the "dear leader"...mmmm,  mmmm, mmm!

Nice finish for the week

Greetings Comrades! - closing rant of the week
 
Well, let's see what wonders the Obama regime has to offer as we close the week.
 
1.  Today is Muslim prayer day in Washington DC.  They expect 50,000 followers of the religion of peace to descend on the capital.  I'm betting they get way more coverage than the 1.5 million of us that were there on 9/12.  Obama, I'm sure will welcome them with open arms.  When they're all sticking their butts into the air, in prayer, wouldn't you just love to practice your long distance field goal kicking?  Hope they have plenty of deodorant.
 
2.  Yesterday, Timothy Geitner addressed the G20 in Pittsburgh.  He was pledging to enact compensation reform and wants to get it done by the end of the year.  This would limit CEO pay (for now) and eventually trickle down to the rest of us.  Did I miss something, or is this Stalinist Russia?  Oh that's right, its Obamaist Amerika.  Who the ....... does this guy think he is?  Commissar Geitner?  Rumor has it that we are changing our currency into Rubels.
 
3.  Obama tells us that Obamacare will not cover illegal aliens, yet every amendment offered that would require proof of citizenship is voted down along party lines.  Yet another Obama lie?  Is there something I can take for Montezuma's Revenge?
 
4.  Obama says Obamacare will not cover abortions with federal funds, yet every amendment inserting specific language stating so into the bill is voted down along party lines.  And very telling, NARAL and NOW are not jumping up and down screaming that women's rights are being trampled. Seems a little fishy no?  So is this Obama's "cash for fetuses" program?  Yet another Obama lie?
 
5.  Schmuck Schumer and the other p.o.s. David Rockefeller are introducing an amendment into the Senate version of the deathcare bill.  Watch for them to try and ram it through via the Reconciliation process as soon as this weekend.  Was Schmuck Schumer a used car salesman before being a senator?  I can picture him in a plaid sport coat trying to unload a 72 Buick on some unsuspecting housewife. 
 
6.  With a sickly Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg, Obama will have another imminent opportunity to stack the Supreme Court with yet another Communist.  Look for someone like the reprehensible Cass Sunstein to be on the short list.  Maybe they'll rename the Supreme Court to the Supreme People's Democratic Court.  Sounds so trendy and Leninist doesn't it?  Gulag anyone?
 
7.  Repubs are trying to introduce amendments that will look at the overwhelming number of czars that Obama and Soros are appointing without any congressional oversight.  Even Diane Feinstein had raised some concerns until she received the"phone call" from the White House (a.k.a. Kremlin West).  She has predictably switched her opinion and now we'll have more czars than Russia did in their entire history.  Well, maybe we'll get cheap vodka at some point.
 
8.  The administration puts gag orders on insurance companies (Humana) that were sending mailers to their customers telling them that the HR3200 bill takes $128B out of Medicare Advantage, that would affect 11 million people in this country.  So KGB-style threats and intimidation is now the standard operating procedure of the Politburo in Washington?  Silencing dissent, what a novel idea.  Dammit!......Wish the Republicans would have thought of it 8 years ago.  Can anyone tell me what happened to our first amendment rights?
 
9.  Oh yeah, and how about those cute little kids all singing the "we love Obama" song, "mmmm, mmmm, mmmm".  Isn't that darling?  Do ya think it's indoctrinating kids?....aw c'mon!  That's ridiculous.  I mean, I'm sure it was spontaneous.........kind of like in North Korea, Cuba, Iran, and Stalinist Russia. What's next, the Obama Youth?  They's be so cute goose-stepping along wouldn't they?  Or would moon walking be more appropriate?
 
10.  And then of course there was Obama firmly kissing the arse of every dictator on the planet, with his embarrassing, destructive, and once-again apologetic speech to the UN General Assembly.  Where have all the courageous and strong leaders like Neville Chamberlain gone when we need them?  I don't know about you but I'm feeling pretty darn safe and secure, how about you?
 
11.  And lastly,  in the most obvious display of Democratic hypocrisy, the Massachusetts legislature (state senate and house) voted to give Democrat Governor Deval Patrick the authority to immediately name a successor to the drunken dead guy without having to wait the 145 days for a special election as was required when Massachusetts had a Republican governor, Mitt Romney.  The irony of course is that when Romney was the "guvnah", Chappaquiddick Teddy was the driving force behind the law to institute the 145 day wait.  So with this piece of conniving, the Dems have their filibuster proof majority in the Senate coincidentally just before the healthcare bill vote.  Talk about stacking the deck and covering all your bases.  They have both the 60 vote majority and the threat of Reconciliation up their sleeve.

And you guys thought I was kidding about the subtle coupe d'etat that is taking place?
 
I'm sure one day soon, some of you may be visiting me in a re-education camp.  If so, I like Kit Kat bars since I don't smoke.

Really Want THEM to Run Your Health Care?

If Obama succeeds in taking over health care, he takes over final control of the individual.  We will no longer be free.  We will be at the mercy of government bureaucrats who will decide what care each individual receives based on some sort of cost/benefit analysis.  It will be the government that will decide who lives and who dies.  Look at who he has surrounded himself with and what their frightening policies are.  People like Ezekiel Emmanuel (brother of thug Rahm Emmanuel) and his radical views on health care and who would decline coverage to the elderly or disabled for the “great good”. For the greater good?  If that isn’t a Marxist tenet than I don’t know what is.  Even more frightening are people like John Holdren, who is a proponent of forced abortions and mass sterilizations and who authored a book in 1977 that advocated totalitarian measures to control population and a "Planetary Regime" with the power of life and death over American citizens.  How much longer to we have to listen to excuses and lies about the people that Obama surrounds himself with and how much longer will they try to lead us to believe that these people have no influence over his policies?

But for how much longer?

So, it has come down to this. The Obama administration and the DNC are now attacking ordinary citizens who dare to voice their opposition to H.R.3200 or to even question the Obama health care bill by labeling them as “mobs”, right-wing extremists, and agents of the insurance industry. 

White House Office of Health Reform communications director Linda Douglass appears in a 3 minute video refuting claims that Obama is an ardent proponent of a single payer health care system, contrary to what Obama was recorded as clearly saying as recently as a 2003 speech before the AFL-CIO.  In the video, Douglass says the Drudge Report website that shows the Breitbart TV video, is "taking sentences and phrases out of context, and they're cobbling them together to leave a very false impression." This, despite the fact that the uncut video clearly shows Obama advocating for single payer health care.

This is becoming a disturbing pattern of Chicago-style thug politics being practiced by the Obama regime.  If you watch the videos from the various town hall meetings, it is obvious that those attending are ordinary American citizens from all walks of life, who are undoubtedly Republicans, Democrats, and Independents and who only want their representatives (remember the elected officials should be THEIR REPRESENTATIVES) to read the bill before voting for it and to answer their questions.  The DNC however, is claiming that the outrage exhibited at these town all meetings is manufactured and sponsored by “K-Street” opponents of H.R. 3200.  This coming from the party who routinely pays ACORN and other Marxist agitators to sabotage and shout down conservative speakers on college campuses. The nonsensical and disingenuous claims of the DNC cannot be further from the truth. The irony in their attack on our own concerned citizens is that it was just a few months ago that we were being told that community involvement and community organizing was a form of higher calling and a wonderfully noble vocation.  Isn’t dissent is the highest form of patriotism? After all, community organizing apparently qualifies one to run for and serve as president. Of course this rhetoric is always one sided, in favor of the Democrats and their apparatchiks.

What is even more frightening, if not outright terrifying, an should rock you to your core, is that the White House is now calling on citizens to report and collect emails containing “fishy”, content or containing criticism of Obama policies.  So what happens with those emails and the people who send them?  Their email and IP addresses are recorded, and what happens then?  What “punishment” will these dissidents receive in the U.S.S.A under the Orwellian Obama regime? What is amazingly coincidental is that on this very day, Venezuelan president (for life) Hugo Chavez is cracking down on the Venezuelan media and anyone critical of his regime. How much more evidence do people in this country need before they realize the horrible mistake that this nation made in electing a Marxist street organizer with a questionable and mysterious past to the highest office in the land? Have we all forgotten Orwell’s “1984” or “Animal Farm”?

This regime and its minions are malevolent Marxists determined to destroy the United States of America and to create a socialist/Marxist “utopia” where the elite will decide what is good for the rest of us.  Wake up! Educate yourself. Get involved, engage, fight for your rights which are are eroding daily.

What is President's Plan?

   Recently, I saw two video clips of then Senator Obama, discussing health care, his visions, and his policies.  In one clip, Obama talks about his vision for health care ten, fifteen, twenty years "down the road".  Without parsing the interview, it is clear from his comments that Mr. Obama's vision is for a single payer health care system, contrary to what he is now trying to sell the public in his relentless campaign-like advertising blitz. 
 
In the second video clip, from 2007 and in front of the AFL-CIO, Senator Obama clearly states that he is a proponent of a single payer health care system, to the applause of those in attendance.
This apparent "double-speak" is becoming more and more troublesome with the President.  He has a growing history of associating with individuals with a far-left anti-American ideology, with saying one thing and then changing the story and saying something else, and with making promises that he cannot keep.  Therefore, it is certainly no surprise that his poll numbers are dropping and the American people are beginning to question whether or not he can be trusted in reforming health care or fixing the economy or keeping us safe and most importantly, preserving our liberty.  Despite vehement denials from his supporters, it is becoming more and more obvious that the individuals that the President has associated with throughout his life and who he has now surrounded himself with, do in fact have significant influence on his outlook and policies.  In fact, it is safe to say, those policies are HIS policies.  As an alleged transcendent figure who will be above partisan politics and racial disharmony and who claimed to be a "uniter" and a moderate, he is in reality governing from a far left ideology in which the end result justifies the means.        
 
There can be no denying that we are at the most crucial juncture in our history.  Do we allow the governement to plunge headlong into socialism or do we stand and fight to preserve our liberty?  This is what we should be asking our parents, our friends, our children, and co-workers.

WHO and American Healthcare

It was announced recently that the World Health Organization has rated US health care the most effective (#1) in the world.  So the question becomes, if it is the most effective now, with it's imperfections, why is the administration trying to change it (tear it down and rebuild it).  Are we striving to be "not the best"?  Seems illogical to tear down and rebuild something that is the world's most effective and where 80% of the recipients of the health care currently in place are happy and /or satisfied with it. 
 
So to try and understand, we have the government wanting to control 17% of our economy.  This is the same government (regardless of party) under whose watch Medicaid is broke, Medicare is broke, Social Security is broke (as is the Postal Service and Amtrak).  It's the same government that came up with the "Cash for Clunkers" program that was supposed to last until November with the $1 billion allotted to it, but ran out of money 4 days into the program!!!!.  So to extrapolate on the idea that the government can manage or forecast anything "effectively" ask yourself the following.  If they were that far of on their estimate of Cash for Clunkers and what it would cost (now they want $2 billion more), what in world makes you think that their estimate on health care isn't just a wildly off target? 
 
Given their track record, why would any sane person want them involved with health care to begin with?
